Have you ever felt like this after a day in the Sun?
It’s that time of the year again! Everyone is sporting their sunburns of the season! I’ve seen quite a few red faces and shoulders around the Valley over the last couple weeks and started gifting all my friends my infamous “Too Much Sun Spray”. No judgment! The reason I was making this is that I too, indulged myself in the sun while hiking Wheeler Canyon on a gorgeous sunny day! People can’t believe how easy it is to make this recipe and how soothing it is to their sunburned skin.
I’m going to link you up to the exact supplies I used and yes, I’m linking to bulk because trust me, your friends and family are all going to want this!
Here’s what you need:
4 oz spray bottle
1/2 cup aloe vera juice
4 drops doTERRA Peppermint essential oil
4 drops doTERRA Lavender essential oil
4 drops doTERRA Melaleuca essential oil
1 Tbsp doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil
Cute Labels (optional obviously)
Combine all ingredients in the spray bottle. I do use a small funnel to pour the aloe vera juice into the spray bottle, but if you trust your steady hand, you can skip it. Close the bottle and shake.
Keep this refrigerated and shake before spraying each time. The cool spray will feel so good on your skin! This recipe is safe for small children to use, but obviously, avoid getting it too close to the eyes.
Just in case one of you is thinking, “Nisha, can I just stop by your house and pick some up?” I still have some of the bottles on hand at the moment that this blog post is going to publish. Text me at 801-869-0147 and tell me you want some “Too Much Sun Spray” and I’ll let you know if you can swing by for some.
