Living in Weber County has many thing to offer in the winter from snowmobiling, ice fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, down hill skiing, sledding, and more. Our family recently went sledding and finding the right sled can be expensive and honestly consuming it you are trying to find a sled right after it snowed and you are shopping locally. So I went to town and couldn’t find a thing. So I went to Amazon and ordered a couple of these and wha-la we had fun in 48 hours. I love these tubes because they are lighter then most options and give a little cushion if you are going to hit a bump. (may receive compensation for links clicked) A few of our favorite parks are Wadman Park , and Lomand View Park both in North Ogden.
If you want to have your sleds provided by you there is a great place in Eden, next to Nordic Valley Ski Resort. called Wasatch Parc where you just show up and ride the tubes up and down with out the work of sledding.
The next thing you can not go sledding or snow shoeing without is a thermos for hot chocolate. We have had this thermos for years and it keeps your cocoa warm as can be and are glad we bring it along.
